so that I started glazing.
I normally start glazing at least a couple days in advance depends on
the kiln space.
Since the glazing is the final stage of the process, I don't want to
rush.
This time, I made a several kinds of pieces from the heart shape plates
to the small pieces which are the soy sauce containers.
I'm excited when I load the kiln every time, but also get nervous
at the same time.
I'll continue to glaze until next Wednesday.
素焼きしたものもたまっていて、来週の水曜日に本焼きの予定をしているので
釉がけを始めました。
通常、窯の大きさにもよりますが、釉がけは最低でも2、3日前には始めます。
釉がけは最後の大事なプロセスになるので、焦りたくないですから。
今回はハート型のプレートから小さいお醤油入れまでいろいろと作りました。
毎回、窯入れの時はワクワクもしますが、と同時にドキドキもします。
来週水曜日の窯入れまで釉がけは続きます。
