H*iromi Ceramics: Notepad holder

It's been more than month since last update, I should update more often though.
Anyway...
I will show you one from my recent works which is "Notepad Holder" that
my husband's request a couple month ago.
He wants ten of them but he really needs four at first, so I made four and
will see how it goes.
I measured the paper size and calculated the shrinkage of the clay,
then I made the template for it.
Here is a finished work.

さて・・・
最近の作品の中から1つご紹介しましょう。
主人から数ヶ月前に依頼されていた「メモ帳用のトレイ」です。
10個欲しいと言われていましたが、4個は最低限欲しいとのことだったので
まずは4個作成して、どんな感じが見てみようということになりました。
トレイの中に入る紙のサイズを測り、土の収縮率を計算してから
テンプレートを作ります。
そして、出来上がったのがこちら。
